21 Mach 1 owner here I absolutely love my mach, especially it being my first manual car. The way the car revs up for you coming off the clutch and the auto rev match definitely helped me learn. The only complaints i have with the car are. Ford still has a lot of defects from the factory still in, i had a couple with my mach, but ford did correct those free of charge. Second, i definitely agree with you on this, the cup holder situation is a bit awkward at times. And last the wired Carplay/ Android Auto, i fixed this issue with an adapter, but still it should come from the factory wireless.
